CARIBOU – Joel Theriault, 93, died May 18, 2023 in Lincoln. He was born in Caribou, May 12, 1930 the son of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Guerrette) Theriault. Joel served in the United States Army during the Korean War as a paratrooper. He was a member of Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was a past state commander of the VFW. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 15, the Caribou Snowmobile Club, and the Van Buren ATV Club. Joel was a longtime faithful member of the Parish of the Precious Blood. He was predeceased by his wife, M. Yvonne (Bossie) Theriault in 2020, and by siblings Henry, Pat, Armand, Harold, and Cecil Theriault, and Doris Howlett. Joel is survived by his brother, Roland Theriault, and a sister, Della Beaulieu.
Graveside services with military honors will be held Monday, June 5, 2023 at 12PM at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
