Jennifer Sue (Hanson) Beaupre
November 29, 1967 – November 28, 2023

If you are reading this, cancer didn’t win. God called me home because my work on earth is complete.

I was blessed with an amazing life – born on November 29, 1967, the eighth and last child to Paul J. And Jeanette A. (Stairs) Hanson Sr. My siblings and I were raised in a loving home and were taught from a young age how to love one another, share, respect, appreciate, accept, and to know the difference between right and wrong. We have since instilled these values in our own children. We were taught to work and earn money – especially at harvest. Mom would take all eight of us to the potato field. Back then we complained, but as adults we admit that those were the BEST days and cherish them.

We had a genuine love and caring for one another and for our family. Sundays after church, weekends, birthdays, and holidays always revolved around being together, and to this day it still does. My love for my family and friends is immeasurable – I love you all and will miss you until we meet again.

I was educated in the Caribou Schools and graduated in 1985/1986 – Originally and always the class of 1986, but I was able to graduate a year early in 1985. That fall I was off to Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute (NMVTI) in Presque Isle, where I began the nursing program. After deciding nursing wasn’t my passion, I wanted to explore the medical field. I worked at Cary Medical Center in the X-Ray and Emergency Departments, as well as some local medical offices, and found my true passion. I was hired by Dr. David A. Smith D.M.D.  and spent a majority of my working career of nearly 22 years there. I had a love for the dental field, the patients, their families, outside offices, and made some lifelong friends along the way.

I found the love of my life, Jerry D. Beaupre and we were married on November 26, 1993. Residing in the very farmhouse Jerry was raised in, in North Caribou. I leave behind my husband, Jerry, our son, Jacob P. Beaupre (Gabby McCrum), and our daughter, Krista A. (Brad) Jencks, as well as our precious granddaughters, Harper Jean Jencks and Tatum Pearl Jencks – these girls have been my everything. Always remember how much NaNay loves you.  I will miss you more than you can ever imagine! To Baby Beaupre due in April 2024 – I longed for the day to meet you, hold you and love on you! I am also survived by my siblings – Karla Hanson of Caribou, Peter (Karen) Hanson of South Portland, Brenda (Vaughn) Keaton of Caribou, Michael Hanson of Portland, Dana Hanson of Portland, sister-in-law, Michelle Hanson, of Caribou, sister-in-law, Brenda (Beaupre) Martin of Mariaville, brother-in-law, Randy Clark of New Sweden, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. I was predeceased by my mother, father, and brothers, Paul Hanson Jr., and Ralph Hanson, as well as a niece Kristen Amanda, my in-laws, Frances and Blanche Beaupre, a brother and two sisters-in-law, Larry and Rona Beaupre, and Gail (Beaupre) Clark.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 6PM until 8PM at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11AM at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Spring interment will be held at the Lyndon Cemetery.
