Jeannette (Mickey) Ellen Mcentee St. Amant

Caribou & Presque Isle - Jeannette (Mickey) Ellen McEntee St. Amant, 81, passed away on January 15, 2022 at Rising-Hill in Limestone, ME. She was born in Presque Isle, ME on June 30, 1940, Daughter to the late Darrell and Mildred (Taylor) McEntee. She was known by her family as Mickey, her childhood nickname. She spent many of her childhood years picking potatoes alongside her sister. She married and raised her children while farming, working in manufacturing and as a convenience store manager until retirement. She was hardworking and devoted to her family. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, cooking, traveling and her beloved dogs.

She is survived by her four children; son: Joseph St. Amant Jr. of Varysburg, NY, three daughters: Susan Wright and her husband, Robert of Skowhegan, Cynthia Dupre and her husband, Joel, of Madison, Danielle Camping and her husband, Paul, of Caribou. Grandchildren Robert Wright and his wife, Paula, Matthew Wright, Ashley Beth Collella, Kayla Marie Kilcollins, Colin Dupre, Megan Perry, Michael St. Amant and Jacob St. Amant, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and brothers: Walter McEntee, Robert McEntee, and Granville McEntee, and sisters: Myrtle Chase Sailor and Viola Good.

The family wishes to thank Rising-Hill staff and The Aroostook House of Comfort for their care and compassion shown to her and her family.

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held. Interment will be held in the spring at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in Jeannette’s memory be made to: Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
