Caribou – Jeannette Marie (Corbin) Gagnon, 82 died February 21, 2012. She was born March 4, 1929 at Fort Kent, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Saucier) Corbin. Mrs. Gagnon attended Fort Kent Schools, was a lifelong member of the Parish of Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Her lifelong job was taking care of people from an early age, helping her mom and dad with her siblings to becoming a wife and mother. Jeannette was a very special person who everybody loved, whether you had known her for years or just met her for the first time. She had an impact on you that you couldn’t help but love to admire. She married her teenage sweetheart Dennis Gagnon Jr. on June 30, 1947. They were married for more than 63 years the love of her life who she adored. Jeannette is survived by her four daughters and son in-laws; Linda and Darrell Gagnon of Dover, FL., Cynthia and Russell Wilcox of Caribou, Denise and Patrick McCormack of Woodland, Janet and Joseph Pignatiello of Wade; her daughter in-law, Mrs. Frank (Iris) Gagnon of Benton; three sisters, Kay Clark of Tennessee, Renamay Edmonds of Connecticut, and Marilyn Smith of Texas; one brother, Steven Corbin of Florida; 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. Mrs. Gagnon was predeceased by her husband Dennis Gagnon Jr., April 28, 2011; her two sons Dale D. Gagnon Sr. February 18, 2006, and Frank D. Gagnon Sr. April 27, 2007. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 2-4pm and 6-8pm Monday. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Parish of Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the V. Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie Pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial. Spring interment will take place at the New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
