CARIBOU – Jason Ouellette, 41, died unexpectedly on May 8, 2021 at Northern Light Eastern Medical Center in Bangor, Maine with his mother and brothers by his side. He was born in Caribou, September 24, 1979 to Ronald and Bernadette (Levesque) Ouellette. Jason was a 1999 graduate of Caribou High School. He then attended the Eastern Maine Technical College in Bangor where he earned his welder’s certification. Jason was happiest when he was with people he loved. He loved family traditions and looked forward to the celebrations. Family and friends meant everything to him. Jason had a very special relationship with his father and became a willing caregiver when his father’s health deteriorated. Jason was an outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and skiing. He will be remembered by his family as a very capable handyman who had an ability to fix almost anything and was very diligent with all his endeavors. He leaves behind his parents of Caribou, brothers Marc of Chicago, Kerby and his partner Marilyn Saucier of Lewiston. He grew up in Caribou with his cousins Lise and Joseph Carter, who were more like a sister and brother to him. He is also survived by his aunt Huguette Levesque, his uncle Gary and wife Terry Ouellette and his aunt Nona and her husband Bearce Carter. Jason is also survived by a special family friend, Dewayne Watson, wife Heather and their three sons as well as cousins and friends who are too numerous to mention. Jason will be remembered for the impact he had on many peoples lives and will certainly be missed. This gentle, loving, caring and wonderful man has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts. A Mass of Christian Burial followed by a celebration of Jason’s life will be held at a later date to be announced by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou, Maine.
