James L. Harris

CARIBOU – James L. Harris, 80, passed away July 13, 2021 at Van Buren following a period of declining health. He was born in Connor Twp, May 29, 1941, the son of the late Guy and Ella (Cote) Harris. Mr. Harris served in the United States Army as a Paratrooper, and then owned and operated his own business – James L. Harris Construction for many years. Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy (Thibodeau) Harris, of Caribou, and four children, Chris Albee and husband Mike of North Carolina, Mark Harris of Alfred, Debbie Adams and husband Randy of Caribou, and Donna Staples and husband Dean of Caribou, a sister, Lillian Doody of Woodland, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
