LIMESTONE - Jacqueline Marie Wells, 72, passed away at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor on 17 November 2021. She was born in Grand-Falls, New Brunswick, Canada on 23 September 1949 to the late Albenie and Rose (Michaud) Cote.
Jackie was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved big and lived by her own rules. Her love is forever in our hearts.
She is survived by husband, Melvin Isaac Wells of Limestone. Daughter, Jennifer Wells Corriveau (Scott) of Alexandria, AL. Grandchildren, Rebecca Steelman, Joshua Corriveau (Savannah) and Bethany Corriveau of Alexandria, AL. Great-Grandsons, Karsyn Steelman and Liam Corriveau. Sisters, Geraldine Rioux (Richard) of Drummond, NB,CA, Jeanette Demain of Grand-Falls, NB, CA, Mona Fox of New York, Pauline Pellitier of Grand-Falls, NB, CA, and Parise Cote (Richard Grieve) of Ottawa, ON CA. Brothers, Alyre Cote (Michelle) of New Denmark, NB, CA and Meril Cote (Margarite) of Saint-John, NB, CA.
Predeceased by brothers, Maurice, Gerald, and Albenie Jr. and an infant sister Pauline. Memorial services will be held at 10am on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. The family has requested that those attending please wear a face covering. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to contribute in memory of Jackie may do so through the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 24 Cross Street, Presque Isle, ME 04736.
