CARIBOU - Irene R. Drost, 89, passed away December 24, 2019 at Caribou. She was born in Caribou, June 29, 1930 the daughter of the late Edmund and Louise (Bouchard) St. John. Irene was a lifelong member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons, Romeo Bouchard of Woodland, and Daniel Drost of Augusta, a sister, Lily Searles, and husband Wendell of Caribou, two brothers, David St. John and wife Corinne of Caribou, and Edward St. John and wife Gwen of Presque Isle, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Drost was predeceased by her first husband, Pearly Bouchard, and her second husband, Daniel Drost, Sr., two sons, Leo St. John, and Louis Bouchard, two sisters, Corinne Richards, and Bertha Gagnon, and a brother, Conrad St. John. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Old Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Caribou.
