CARIBOU – Inger Lisa Hewitt, 56, passed away November 9, 2019 at her Caribou residence following a brief illness. She was born in Kristiansand, Norway, December 9, 1962 the daughter of Jan and Anna (Odegard) Reiersen. Lisa was a graduate of Northern Maine Community College and was employed as the office manager of Allies Inc. for 10 years, and more recently was employed as the receptionist and then as a vet tech assistant at North Country Animal Hospital. She married Flint Hewitt, September 1, 1990. Lisa was an avid ATV rider, and was a member of the Washburn ATV Club. She loved to knit and crochet and had a passion for drawing and reading. Surviving in addition to her husband, Flint and her mother, Anna, both of Caribou, are two sons, Franklin Hewitt of Brewer, and Tyler Hewitt of Presque Isle, one daughter Alicia Hewitt of Connor, one brother Jan Reiersen and wife Brenda of El Paso, TX, two sisters, Mona Reiersen of Caribou, and JoAnn Reiersen of Woodland, three grandchildren, Aiden, Shekinah and Raquelle, 5 nieces, 4 nephews, 1 great-niece, and 1 great-nephew. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 1pm to 3pm at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou.
