Herbert F. Weaver

CARIBOU -  Herbert  F. Weaver, 88, passed away March 21, 2019 at his Caribou residence. He was born December 30, 1930, in Lancaster, PA the son of Clarence and Florence (Burkhardt) Weaver. Herbert served his country in the United States Airforce for 20 years, and attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Following his military service, he was employed at Loring AFB in the motor pool as a transportation officer. Herbert was married to Lorraine Thibodeau Ellis, who predeceased him in May of 2016. Herbert was also a lifetime member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 VFW. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Larry, and a stepson, Gary Ellis. He is survived by 4 daughters, Paula Yoder and husband Roy, of Lancaster, PA, Beatrice Armstrong and husband Rick, of Lancaster, PA, Dawn Donough and husband Jeff, of Lititz, PA, and Holly Keller and husband Bob, of Mount Joy, PA, 5 step-children, Fred Ellis Jr. and wife Nancy of Monument, CO, David Ellis and wife Sheila of Greenville, TX, Diana Deminsky and husband Peter of Ceres, CA, Laura Pelletier of Glenburn, and Donna Bennett and husband Peter of Caribou, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private interment will be held at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in the spring.
