Harold V. Jandreau, 92, died January 27, 2026 at the Maine Veterans Home in Caribou. He was born in St. Francis, January 30, 1933, the son of the late Hector and Rosebelle (Dubois) Jandreau. Mr. Jandreau served with the United States Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 V.F.W., the Henry B. Pratt Post 15 American Legion, was a life member of the D.A.V. and was also a member of the Korean War Veterans Association 292. He married Norma (Berube) on December 7, 1961 and she predeceased him in March of 2020. Harold was a self-employed truck driver for many years, a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Harold had a love of gardening and was still growing beautiful tomatoes and green peppers in raised beds in the courtyard of the Veterans Home.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Leola St. Amour and husband Paul of Poland Springs, and Barbara Duguay and husband Lee of Chesterville, one granddaughter, Sarah St. Amour and husband Alex, siblings, Anita Thibodeau of East Hartford, CT, Verla Berube of Southington, CT, Walteen Soucy and husband George of Fort Kent, Rhona Pelletier and husband Thomas of St. Francis, Valmond Jandreau of St. Francis, many nieces and nephews. Mr. Jandreau was predeceased by brothers, Lou, Ervin, and Doyle Jandreau and sisters, Geraldine “Dean Thibodeau and Mayvella “Dot” Thibodeau.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Caribou Maine Veterans Home for the excellent care he received.
