Guy P. Thibodeau

Guy P. Thibodeau, 79, died August 8, 2026 in Caribou following a brief illness. He was born December 23, 1946 at home in Caribou, the son of the late Conday and Jeanne (Soucy) Thibodeau. Guy was a graduate of Caribou High School, he also attended NMVTI earning a Journeyman Electrician certification. Guy worked for 30 years at Solman Distributors, and then retired from Cary Medical Center where he worked as the receiving clerk for 18 years. Mr. Thibodeau was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was a life member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 Veteran of Foreign Wars. Guy is survived by his son, Bradley J. Thibodeau of Connor Township, his grandchildren, Aubrey, Cacey, and Braeden Thibodeau, four great-grandchildren, Eowyn, Narah, Emerson and Emeill, siblings, Roger (Suzanne) Thibodeau, Gary (Barb) Thibodeau, Lisa (Mike) Bombara. He was predeceased by his wife, Susan Thibodeau, and by a sister, Lorna Thibodeau.

Graveside services with military honors will be held Friday, August 14, 2026, 12 noon at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, with Fr. Thomas Xavier, SAC officiating. A time of continued fellowship will be held at the Post 9389 VFW - Caribou.
