WOODLAND – Gregory R. Levesque, 64, died July 11, 2024 following a period of declining health. He was born in Caribou, October 2, 1959 the son of Lawrence and Anne (Hathaway) Levesque. Gregory was a graduate of Caribou High School. Gregory served in the United States Army and served in the Maine Army National Guard. He worked as a counselor for Aroostook Mental Health, and then worked at Maine Military Authority. Gregory was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, and ATVing. He was a great cook and his signature teriyaki chicken was a favorite of many. Greg also enjoyed watching sci-fi movies while eating barbeque chips, playing and collecting guitars. Overall, he loved life and made friends where ever he went.
Gregory was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Anne, and by a son, Gregory Levesque, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Dube and husband Jon of Waterville, a son, Christopher Anderson of Litchfield, siblings, David Levesque of Caribou, Larry Levesque of Lehigh Acres, FL, Karen Levesque Porter of New Gloucester, Cathy Frank of Corinna, and Scott Gorneault of Caribou, grandchildren, Jade, Jensen, Isaac, Charlie, Chandler, Calum, a special friend and caregiver, Diana Levesque of Cross Lake, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 11AM until time of services which will be held at 12PM from the chapel of the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou, at 1PM.
