Caribou and Mechanicsburg, PA.-Gina M. (Mogan) Corbin passed away January 8, 2024, surrounded by family in Mechanicsburg. She was born in Belfast, June 7, 1963, the daughter of the late James Mogan and Carolyn Hawes.
Gina was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother (or “Mimi”). She married the love of her life, Steven D. Corbin, in 1988. She was a long-time resident of Caribou and was employed by Burelles Press Service and Mecon Manufacturing. In more recent years, she resided in Mechanicsburg, PA to be close to her daughter and grandchildren. There, Gina worked as a hotel food service manager. She was known for always keeping a stockpile of toys and candy to give to children who visited the breakfast room. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her generosity and thoughtfulness.
Gina is survived by her husband, Steven D. Corbin of Mechanicsburg, PA, a daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Bhavin Patel of Mechanicsburg, PA, two beautiful grandchildren Neelam and Arya Patel, a brother James Mogan and his wife Judy of Gorham, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Glenn and Nancy Hoel of Limestone, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dana and Cheryl Corbin of Caribou, uncles Harold Hawes of Belfast and Larry Hawes of Bucksport, aunt Linda Dakin of Verona Island, and many special cousins.
At Gina’s request, a celebration of life ceremony will be held at graveside in lieu of calling hours. The ceremony will be held on her birthday, June 7, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Stockton Springs Cemetery in Stockton Springs, ME.
