Geraldine S. Labreck

Geraldine S. (Robords) Labreck, 92, of Caswell, passed away peacefully March 19, 2026 at the Aroostook House of Comfort. She was born in Howard, New York, January 18, 1934 the daughter of Charles Robords and Nellie M. (Hughes) Robords. Geraldine owned and operated the Spruce Tavern in Caswell for 41 years, meeting patrons who turned into friends. She was loved and highly respected. She greatly enjoyed time with family, especially the babies in the family.

Geraldine was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Joseph (Lawrence) Labreck in 1972, her daughter, Linda, a son, Mitchell, 3 brothers, Charles L. Robords, Rodney Robords, and John H. Robords, 4 sisters, Grace Welch, Pauline Cone, Marion Fletcher and Rosella Sullivan. She was also predeceased by her special companion, Roger Shaw.

She is survived by 6 of her children, Kenny Labreck of Campbell, NY, Christine Perreault of Saco, Jody Labreck of Racine, WI, Jeanette (Kevin) Seymour of Harvard, IL, Sharon LaBreck of Caswell, and Pam (Ark) Giberson of Caswell, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will host a celebration of Geraldine’s life in the summer of 2026.
