George Pelletier

Caribou – George Pelletier, 80, died January 6, 2018 at Caribou. He was born in Caribou December 29, 1937, the son of George and Odelie (Dumas) Pelletier. George graduated from the Caribou High School in 1956 and graduated from Ricker College in 1975 with a degree in Business Management. He married Pauline Bishop in 1966. George served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam and was a member of the Perkins-Plourde Post 136, American Legion. He was employed for many years in retail sales for L. S. Halls. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 51 years, Pauline of Caribou are his daughter, Theresa Ewing and husband Clark of Caribou, 2 brothers, Gil Pelletier of Enfield, Conn. and Larry Pelletier of Caribou, 1 sister Lorraine Koehler of Washburn, 2 grandchildren, Carol and Douglas Ewing as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Pelletier was predeceased by his siblings Connie, Esther, Joan, June, and Don. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at the Northern Maine Veterans’ Cemetery.
