Washburn-Gary W. Skidgel 58, died October 1, 2010 at Presque Isle. He was born in Woodland November 7, 1951 the son of the late Ransford and Myrtle Skidgel Sr. Mr. Skidgel was employed by several area potato growers over the years and he married Delores Bouchard May 29, 1986. Surviving in addition to his wife Delores of Washburn are his three children, Dell Brissette, Joe Brissette and April Brissette all of Washburn. Two brothers; Ransford Skidgel Jr and Dwayne Skidgel both of Connecticut. Three sisters, Mary Skidgel of Connecticut, Flora Ireland of Easton, and Linda Holstein of West Virginia. Eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Skidgel was predeceased by 2 sisters, Eldora St.Pierre and Avis Long. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 6-8 pm Tuesday where evening funeral services will be held at 8:00pm with Rev. Kenneth Phelps, officiating. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery.
