Galen Bouchard

Caribou - With sadness we mourn the passing of Galen Bouchard, 68, who died peacefully May 3, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones in Caribou. He was born in Caribou May 17, 1952 the son of the late Lionel and Isabelle (Guerrette) Bouchard. He was a very proud and hard working man, devoted to his family in every way. Galen and Althea Hughes were married in 1981 in Caribou and remained here with their two daughters. Galen worked at Lane Construction until retirement, and also shared responsibilities of Bouchard Farms with his brothers and nephews. Surviving in addition to his wife Althea are his two daughters, Jodi Duplessie and husband Philip and Sheila Bergin all of Caribou. His beloved grandchildren Nila Bergin and husband Merick Howard, Liam Bergin, Charli Bergin, Danielle Ford and husband Chris, Joseph Volinski, Riley Cray, and one great-granddaughter Aria Ford. Two brothers, Wayne Bouchard and wife Sandy of New York, Darrell Bouchard and wife Roselle of Caribou. Four sisters, Betty Morin and husband Dale of Caribou, Tina Newman and husband Fred of Florida, Jan Shives and husband Ken of Maryland, Diane Bedard and husband Bob of Texas, and sister-in-law Kim Bouchard of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Bouchard was predeceased by two brothers, Gary Bouchard and Maynard Bouchard, and two sisters, Sue Griffiths and Judy Cascio. Funeral Services will be held at a later time and date to be announced by the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
