Gail J. Fuhrmann

CARIBOU - Gail J. Fuhrmann, 72, died March 1, 2024 at Caribou. She was born in Duval, FL, December 23, 1951 the daughter of Raymond and Martina Lagassie Hooey. She married Francis Fuhrmann on March 5, 1973. Gail was employed as the assistant manager at K-Mart in Holyoke, MA and in Presque Isle. Surviving in addition to her husband of over 50 years, Francis, of Caribou, her father, Raymond Hooey and wife Gladys of Caribou, are her three daughters, Sandy Marrett, Donya Fuhrmann, both of Caribou, and Anna Fuhrmann of Presque Isle, one brother, Raymond Hooey Jr., two sisters, Karen Michaud and Kathy Hooey, 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fuhrmann was predeceased by her mother, Martina, and her son, Francis Jr. Friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 12PM until 1PM, a time of family memory sharing will be held at 1PM.
