WOODLAND - Freeman J. Theriault, 89, died June 8, 2023 at the Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center after an extended illness. He was born in Washburn on December 7, 1933, the tenth child of William Theriault and Maria (Jenkins) Theriault. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Courtney Derry of Caribou, Chelsea Theriault of Washburn, and Chris Bouchard of Woodland. He has four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his seven brothers, Leo, Romeo, Ronald, Silvio, Tommy, Victor, and William and his four sisters Betty Moyers, Mary Tilley, Sophie Morneault, and Zelma Badger.
