Camille Franck

September 16, 1939 — November 1, 2020

Limestone -  Camille Franck, 81, went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at a Bangor healthcare facility after a long illness. He was born on September 16, 1939, in Lewiston, to Patrick Franck and Annette(Daigle)Franck. Camille was a well-known businessman and contractor for many years. He loved hard work but he also enjoyed playing pool, fishing, woodcarving, four-wheeling, and making bird houses and maple syrup. Camille was always up for a ride to the coast for a feed of clams; and he very much enjoyed making people laugh. Camille was a very generous man and will be remembered for his strong support to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the St. Louis Catholic Church. He was a member of the Maine National Guard, the St. Louis Church, and a past member of the Knights of Columbus. Camille was predeceased by his parents, his wife of many years Geraldine, his brother Ronald and sister Gertrude. He is survived by his brothers Gerard, Thomas and Paul, along with several nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by special friends Babe and Stanlia Bellefleur and Dave and Sharon Page. At the time of Camille's passing, he was a resident of Winterberry Heights in Bangor where he was very well liked by the residents, staff, and care caregivers and had a special relationship with Administrator Penny Peuliks and caregiver Lisa Carroll. Graveside services will be held at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Limestone on Wednesday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. Masks and social distancing will be required. Those who wish may contribute in Camille's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, or the St. Louis Catholic Church in Limestone, or through charity of one's choice.
