Caribou and Englewood Fl. -Eula Dorothy Wright Fogg died April 24, 2011 at Englewood Fl. She was born in Seal Cove, Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick Canada April 30, 1918 the daughter of the late Frederick Talmidge and Frances Harriet (Nye) Wright. She was a graduate of Fort Fairfield High School and Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy MA. Eula was a high school French and Spanish teacher in her earliest career, and then she worked for the Army Corps of Engineers at Loring Air Force Base, Seymour AFB, Goldsboro, N.C. and McDill AFB in Tampa, FL until her retirement at age 65. Following her retirement she worked for a consumer research firm in Tampa until 70 years of age. She lived in Fort Fairfield, Boston, Caribou, Goldsboro, N.C., Las Vegas, and Englewood, Fl. She has spent the last eight years with her daughter, Carol. Eula is survived by her two daughters, Carol Brewer of Englewood, FL and Linda Brown M.D. of Las Vegas, NV. Three grandchildren, Andrew of Austin, TX, Allyson of Louisville, KY., and Philip of Las Vegas. Four great grandchildren, Georgia and Isaac of Austin, TX and Katrina and Sarah of Las Vegas. One niece and nephew, Ruth Cyr of Sarasota, FL and Otis Wright Jr of Ocean Township, N.J. Eula loved traveling in Europe, Canada and the United States with her daughters and grandchildren. She was an accomplished pianist and was the church pianist for the Church of the Nazarene in Caribou and Portland. She owned Shaw’s Specialty Shop and the Specialty Shop in Caribou for a number of years and was an active member of the Caribou Business and Professional Women’s Club. Eula was a deeply religious person who lived a Godly life. Her deep faith in God and her grace and kindness were an inspiration to many people throughout her life. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am June 25, 2011 from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home Caribou.
