Esther Marie Bell, 95, died June 23, 2026 at the Aroostook House of Comfort surrounded by her family. She was born in St. John Plantation, October 25, 1930, the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (Martin) Theriault. Esther was a 1948 graduate of Fort Kent High School. She married Philip Bell, and he predeceased her on June 23, 2005. Mrs. Bell was employed as a bookkeeper for Guyette’s TV and later for S.W. Collins Company for many years. She was a longtime faithful member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Craig Bell of Caribou, Wayne Bell of Saco, Fred Bell and wife Peggy, Jean Szczepanski, Lynn Jackson and husband Hampton all of Caribou, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Bell was predeceased by siblings, Albertine Phillips, Lorraine Jacques, Leonard Theriault, Edna Guyette, Florence Theriault, and Nora Pasquaretta. Mrs. Bell was predeceased by a grandson, Kyle Szczepanski.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 9AM until 10:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM at Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
