Caribou-Elizabeth A. Belmain, 92, wife of the late Darrell Belmain went peacefully Home to be with her Lord February 22, 2018 at Presque Isle. She was born in Washburn August 8, 1925 the daughter of the late Fred and Tressa (Thompson) Campbell. Elizabeth was employed for many years by the Birds Eye Div. of General Foods in Caribou and was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She was a life time active member of the Caribou Assembly of God. She is survived by three daughters and sons in law; Joyce and Jerry Rediker of Southington, CT., Christine and Don Sawyer of Washburn and Marilyn and Randy Swafford of Woodland. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Belmain was predeceased by her husband Darrell in 1977, her son Glenn Belmain and her daughter Brenda DeMerchant. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 6-8 p.m. Thursday March 1, 2018 where an evening prayer service will be held at the conclusion with Rev. Don Owen, officiating. A graveside service will be held in the spring from the Evergreen Cemetery.
