Woodland - Norma A. Duheme, 79, died March 12, 2019 at Caribou. She was born at Limestone, April 2, 1939, the daughter of the late Philip and Elizabeth (St. Peter) Watson. Norma was a 1956 graduate of Caribou High School and married Joseph Duheme June 18, 1960. She was employed by the State of Maine Caribou District Court for over 31 years. Mrs. Duheme was a long time active member of the Caribou United Baptist Church where she was involved with the Ladies Mission Circle, serving in numerous positions. She served as a Deaconess on the Board of Deacons, was active in church choir for many years and truly enjoyed singing in the annual Living Christmas Tree. Surviving in addition to her husband of over 58 years, Joe of Woodland are two daughters Kathy Boudreau and husband James of South Portland, and Karen Duffy of Cromwell, Conn, two sisters Donna Watson of North Carolina, and Phillipa Sirois of Connecticut, two grandchildren, Nicole Ray and Harmony Chiasson, three great-grandchildren, Alyvia, Graysen and Avery. Several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Duheme was predeceased by her brother Robert Watson and a sister Brenda Doak . Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 6 - 8 p.m., Friday. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 from the Caribou United Baptist Church with Pastor Troy Heald officiating. Following the service all are invited for a continued fellowship and refreshments in the church dining hall. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mrs. Duheme may do so through the United Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
