Daniel Rossignol

CARIBOU - Daniel P. Rossignol, 73, died March 16, 2023 at Caribou. He was born in Van Buren, June 6, 1949, the son of the late Rene and Corinne (Gagnon) Rossignol. Daniel worked in the auto body painting and repair field, working for many years at Modern Autobody – Ford Motor Company, and most recently at Maine Military Authority. He enjoyed being in nature, whether it be tending to his bountiful garden, fishing, hunting, ATVing or simply riding around. Daniel is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (Ouellette) Rossignol of Caribou, their daughters, Danyel “Dani” Burlock and husband Happy of Mapleton, and Sonya Rossignol and significant other Wayne Keaton of Caribou, five siblings, Rena Smith of Albuquerque, NM, Larry Rossignol of Van Buren, Donaldine Soucie, Velma Castonguay both of Caribou, and Mona Mongeon of Canada, four grandchildren,  Brady Burlock, Corey Burlock, Alyssa White, and Emma Theriault, seven great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his many friends, including his best friends, the County Sports crew, Myron Hale, Dave Morrow, and Marshall Burby. He was predeceased by siblings, Ina Helkosky, and Herman Rossignol. The family will host a celebration of life in the spring.
