Caribou - Douglas Dale Hafford, 60, died unexpectedly May 25, 2023 at Caribou. He was born in Caribou, March 28, 1963 the son of Alfred Doug Hafford and Janice (Whiteneck) Hafford. He attended Caribou Schools and was employed by several area construction companies and farmers. Doug loved nature and being outdoors where he was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to play his guitar and was a pretty good story teller. He is survived by his father Alfred Doug Hafford and significant other Mary Saucier, of Presque Isle. One sister, Becky Thomas and significant other Ralph Cameron of Caribou. Four brothers; Frank Hafford and significant other Debbie Lagasse of Connor, Steven Hafford of Caribou, Lloyd Hafford and significant other Judy Chambers and her family, of Arundel, Floyd Hafford and significant other Amanda McGrath of Caribou. Several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Travis Thomas. Douglas was predeceased by his mother Janice Theriault . A graveside service will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
