Patricia Dorman

Caribou – Patricia Rivard Dorman, 61, died December 22, 2018 at a Boston Hospital following a brief and valiant fight against cancer.  She was born in Claremont, NH, March 24, 1957, the daughter of Matthew and Gloria (Joyal) Rivard.  Patti was a graduate of Claremont High School and received a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Rivier College.  Following graduation, she moved to Caribou, where she met and married Galen Dorman, January 17, 1983.  She was the crafts manager for several years at Ames Department Store, then began a long career at Pines Health Services where she served in several capacities including Clinical Coordinator for a number of years.  Mrs. Dorman was a devoted member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she taught CCD Classes for a number of years.  Patti loved assisting the Pines Team making and participating in the Caribou Cares About Kids parade float and organizing various health fairs.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and thrived off the time spent with family and friends.  She had a passion for planning family get-togethers, decorating her home for the holidays, shopping, reading in her sunroom, walking her dog and sitting by the water where she felt much peace.  Surviving in addition to her husband, Galen of Caribou, are her father of Hudson, NH, her children Matthew Dorman of Bangor, Suzanne Stacey and husband Andrew of Parsonsfield, Victoria Dorman of Bangor, Adam Dorman and wife Jenn of Sabattus, Ryan Dorman and Erica Bisson of Lewiston, two sisters Toni Drouart and husband Eric of Nashua, NH, and Cathi Rivard and husband Nick Bukal of Simsbury, CT., her grandchildren, Aiden Hebert, Lexi, Ari, Aiva, and Austin Dorman and Cade Stacey, her godchild Alexandra Conrad.  Several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Dorman was predeceased by her mother.  Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 1-4 p.m., Sunday.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Monday from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Friends who wish to contribute in Patti’s memory may do so by contributing to the Jefferson Cary Oncology Clinic, P.O.
