In Loving Memory of Doris Marie May (Pelletier) Nadeau
May 16, 1940 – May 6, 2025
Through hardship, she gave kindness. Through trials, she stood strong. Through every challenge life placed before her, she chose love.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Doris Marie May (Pelletier) Nadeau, a woman of unwavering devotion, whose love for her family never faltered, even in the face of adversity. She taught us that grace is not found in ease, but in how we rise in difficult moments.
She was the foundation on which dreams were built, the steady hands that nurtured, the heart that never wavered. Through every storm, she sheltered those she loved; and with each sacrifice, she shaped the future of those who depended on her.
Her strength was quiet, but mighty. Her love was fierce, yet gentle. Her legacy is etched in the hearts of her children, her grandchildren, her family, and all who were touched by her warmth, courage, and unwavering hope.
To her beloved husband, Henry, she was a partner in life’s journey, although short in years, it was a love that remained unwavering, strong, and true.
She was a devoted mother, a guiding light to her children, Sherry, Lory, Tammy and Andy to whom she instilled wisdom, kindness, and courage to dream.
As a grandmother to Ashley, Alicia, Michael, Ryan, Nichole, Taylor, Evan, Brett and Jarett, she was a storyteller, a source of warmth, a safe embrace that felt like home.
As a sister to June, Norma, Gil, Roger, Cecil, Lou Ann and Jerry, she shared bonds of childhood memories, love that deepened with time and laughter that never faded.
Doris joins her husband, Henry, parents, Henri and Isabelle, her brothers, June, Gil and Jerry, her sister, Norma and daughter, Sherry, in Heaven. She is survived by her sisters, Cecil and Lou Ann, her brother, Roger, her children, Lory (Wayne), Tammy (Glenn), and Andy (Laura), her former son-in-law, Peter and her grandchildren, Ashley, Alicia, Michael, Ryan, Nichole, Taylor, Evan, Brett and Jarett. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and special friends.
Though she has left this world, her love remains—a guiding light, a steady presence, a reminder that strength, when given with love, is eternal.
Rest in peace, Mom. Your strength lives on.
