CARIBOU – Donald R. Albert, 86, died May 11, 2022 at Presque Isle following a period of declining health. He was born in Caribou, December 8, 1935 the son of the late Peter and Mary (Levesque) Albert. Mr. Albert attended the Caribou schools and he married Jeannette Saucier in January of 1959. He was a boiler operator for several area plants and potato factories. He served as a medic in the 152nd Field Artillery U.S. Army National Guard for 8 years, and was a lifetime member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 62 years, Jeannette, of Caribou, are two daughters, Debra Bishop and husband John, and Pamela Morin and husband Steven, a son, Brian Albert and John Murchison all of Caribou, sisters, Catherine Rogilo of New York, and Mary Soucie of Rhode Island, four grandchildren, Crystal and Tiffany Bishop, and Maegan and Kelsey Morin, two great grandchildren, Jayden and Emma, many nieces and nephews. Mr. Albert was predeceased by siblings, Maurice, Edgar, Peter, Hubert, Gilbert, and Beatrice. Private graveside services will be held for the family.
