Dennis Walls

CARIBOU – Dennis L. Walls, 78, died November 8, 2023 at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle. He was born in Hammond, Indiana July 10, 1945 the son of Anna (Zolkes) Walls. Dennis was a graduate of Hammond High School, and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. His position as an air traffic controller took him to military bases all over the world. Dennis earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and following his military career he taught special education. He was an avid runner who enjoyed the solitude of being in nature. Dennis is survived by two children, Christopher Walls of Caribou, and Anna Walls of Ellsworth, four grandchildren, Stephanie, Kaylee, Lexie and Knox. He was predeceased by his mother, and a daughter, Patricia. Private family services will be held.
