Cyr Plt. – James B. Davis, Sr., died August 27, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Acton, Massachusetts, July 10, 1940, the son of the late Warren and Ethel (Fitzgerald) Davis. Mr. Davis served in the US Navy and was employed as a commercial truck driver for many years. Jim was an avid Red Sox, Patriots and Golf fan and truly enjoyed living on his farm in Cyr Plantation. He is survived by his children Deborah Davis of Cyr Plantation, James Davis Jr. and Dawn Card, both of Acton, Mass., 2 sisters Warrene Johnson of Littleton, Mass., and Linda O’Neil of Acton, Mass., 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Davis was predeceased by his first wife Barbara Schnair and his second wife Bella Desjardin and a son, Richard Davis. Military Honors will be held 10 am, Thursday, September 2, 2021 from the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
