David Howard Donn, 73, died February 20, 2026 at the Aroostook House of Comfort with his wife by his side following a period of declining health. He was born in Quonset Point Naval Air Station, Rhode Island, April 27, 1952 the son of the late Albert and Doris Mirriam (Kushner) Donn. Following high school, David enlisted in the United States Navy, serving from 1973 to 1977. During this time he had several assignments, including on the U.S.S. Shasta. David earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and had also been working towards a doctorate in neuropsychology prior to his illness.

David was a member of the Congregation Bet’Haam. He was also a member of the Presumpscot Lodge No. 70 A.F.&A.M. in Windham, the Gateway Lodge No. 175 A.F.&A.M. in Warrenton, OR. David was a Shriner, was a member of the Aroostook Shrine Club and was a 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite. David enjoyed working at the Shrine Circus each year. Prior to becoming blind, he enjoyed motorcycle rides. He and his wife Jerri-Ann also enjoyed travelling. In October 2025, they were chosen for an Honor Flight to Washington D.C. which was a wonderful memory for them both.

David is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jerri-Ann (Crawford) Donn of Caribou, his sister, Susan, his daughter, Sara, and a step-daughter, Shannon, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

Interment with military honors and masonic rite will be in the spring at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
