Darlene M. Griffeth

WOODLAND – Darlene M. Griffeth, 73, passed away June 19, 2019 at Caribou. She was born May 24, 1946 in Caribou, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mable (McLaughlin) Brown. Darlene was a graduate of Caribou High School, and was employed at potato service for many years. In September of 1976 she married Ronald Griffeth, and together they shared nearly 43 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, Ronald, of Woodland, Darlene is survived by a daughter, Kelly Sekula of Thurmont, MD, stepchildren, Nanette Boyden, Tammy Quinn, Rhonda Poteat and husband Bob, all of Fernandina Beach, FL, Kevin Griffeth and wife Margaret, of Portland, Mark Griffeth and wife Lisa, of Windham, 4 sisters, Gloria Ketch, of Woodland, Pam Goodine, of Fayetteville, TN, Carolyn Brown, of Dover-Foxcroft, and Phyllis Brown of Woodland, two grandchildren, Jamie Williams and husband Randy, and John Sekula, several step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a special canine companion, Pookie, many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 12pm until time of services which will be held at 1pm from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. David Goupille officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
