Dana G. Doody Sr.

WOODLAND - Dana G. Doody Sr., 86, went Home to his Glory on April 8, 2022 at the Aroostook House of Comfort. He was born in Caribou, February 6, 1936 the son of the late Ivory and Leila (Langley) Doody. He was a graduate of Caribou High School and over the years attended the Caribou United Baptist Church and the Wesleyan Church. Mr. Doody owned and operated Doody Construction for many years and was a well-known mason, constructing many buildings throughout Maine. Dana truly loved his family and will be remembered as a hard worker. He is survived by his wife of over 68 years, Ina (Jackson) Doody of Woodland, their children, Dana Doody Jr. of Woodland, Faith Homes and husband David, and Holly Doody all of Bangor, one sister, Linda McCrossin of Presque Isle, two brothers, Wendall Doody and Frank Doody both of Woodland, his beloved grandchildren, Andrew, Danny, and Nathan Doody, Alex Homes, Hunter Pembroke, Langley Harrison, Marigan Dickinson, and Garrison Doody, great-grandchildren, Madyson, Andre, Autumn and Nora Doody, Oliver Filipovic, and Otis Pembroke, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Doody was predeceased by three children, Dina Masone, Beth Doody, and Clark Doody.  Friends may call Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 1PM until time of services which will be held at 2PM from the chapel of the funeral home. Spring interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery.
