Dana P. Caron

CARIBOU – Dana P. Caron, 71, died August 11, 2020 at his Caribou residence. He was born in Caribou, August 19, 1948 the son of the late Paul and Irene (Michaud) Caron. He was a 1967 graduate of Caribou High School, and married Beverly Campbell October 30, 1970. Mr. Caron served with the Maine Army National Guard, was a member of the NRA, and the American Hunting Club. He was employed at Cyr Construction for several years, and was a dispatcher for the Caribou Police Department for a number of years. Dana was also a member of the Caribou Police Department Reserves, retiring as captain. Surviving in addition to his wife of nearly 50 years, Beverly of Caribou, are one son, Paul Caron and wife Sheana, two daughters, Danielle Whitmore and husband George Jr., and Kristina Drinkall, all of Caribou, one brother, Glen Caron and wife Myra, of Scarborough, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Caron was predeceased by a grandson, Paul Caron Jr. Private family services and interment will take place at a later date.
