CARIBOU - Craig D. McGlinn, 65, passed away peacefully at home in Caribou on September 22, 2022 surrounded by his wife and daughters. Craig was born in Caribou on October 4, 1956, to the late Phil and Geraldine (Lyons) McGlinn. He graduated from Caribou High School in 1974 and went on to Northern Maine Community College where he earned his Master Electrician License. Craig married Mary E. (Levasseur) McGlinn on August 19, 1983. They spent 39 long and wonderful years together raising their family, building a life around one another and deeply loving every moment. Craig was a dedicated husband, adoring father and unwavering provider. The love he had for his family was unmatched and overflowing. Everything he did, he did for us. He enjoyed working long, hard days as a Master Electrician, which he did for more than 46 years. He was a long-time and proud member of the IBEW Local #567. Craig was respected by all who knew him. Whether you worked for or alongside Craig, or if he worked for you, to know him was to love and respect him. Craig believed in humanity, generosity, love and kindness. He believed in working hard, trying your best, and was an exceptionally skilled leader and teacher. Craig was predeceased by his parents, and one grandchild, Belle Rose. He is survived by his wife, Mary, and son Ben; Rachel (McGlinn) & Mathieu Bourgeois and their three children Vivianne Marie, Gérard Mathieu and Sebastian Craig all of Caribou; Sarah (McGlinn) & Eric Brown and their three children, Claire Elizabeth, Evelyn Thérèse and Stacia Alaina of Caribou; a brother, Richard & wife Rose of Gardiner, and a sister Janice McAtee of Woodland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 10AM at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery.
