CARIBOU – Corine D. Lebel, 79, passed away March 17, 2020 at Caribou with her sister, Mary, by her side after a lifelong struggle with health issues. She was born in St Francis, December 7, 1940 the daughter of the late Aurele and Suzanne (Ouellette) Lebel. Corine attended St. Francis schools and Fort Kent High School. She enjoyed reading, making puzzles, and collecting photos of family and friends whom she loved dearly. She also enjoyed shopping at local dollar stores. Corine was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Ketch, of Caribou, Lucia Jandreau of Florida, and Verona Jandreau and husband Joel of Caribou, a sister-in-law, Odette Lebel of Connecticut, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Corinne was predeceased by her parents, three infant siblings, a brother, Ted, a niece, Lisa Jandreau, and brothers-in-law, Kermit Ketch, and Emile Bud Jandreau. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Cary Medical Center for the excellent care and compassion they provided during her stay. Spring interment will take place in St. Francis. A memorial Mass will be held in the early summer at a date and time to be announced by the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou.
