CARIBOU - David Allen Corey, 67, died March 21,2023 at Cary Medical Center in Caribou. He was born in Caribou on April 22, 1955 to Dimitri and Rita Corey. David graduated from Caribou High School in 1974 and then went to college for classical guitar. Following that, he joined the US Navy for 10 years and was a cook and after leaving the Navy he worked as a cook at several local restaurants. David was well known in Caribou as a good man. He was an accomplished guitar player. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Christine O’Rourke. He is survived by his wife Lisa Nickerson Corey of Caribou and his niece, Wendy Chadwick and 2 nephews of Bangor. David will be very missed by many good friends. A graveside service with military honors will be held 10AM on May 16, 2023 at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
