Permilla Clowes

July 21, 1949 — February 28, 2022

CARIBOU – Permilla “Pam” Marie Clowes, 72, died peacefully February 28, 2022, at the Aroostook House of Comfort with her family by her side. She was born in Caribou, July 21, 1949 the daughter of the late William and Theresa (Cowett) Thibodeau. Pam was a 1968 graduate of Caribou High School, and married the love of her life, Craig Clowes, on December 9, 1972. She was a member of the Caribou Lioness Club, she loved to garden, and had beautiful perennials. She enjoyed needlepoint, traveling, and especially taking girls trips with her friends. Pam was also a member of the Pine & Spurs Riding Club, where she served as treasurer for a few years, and truly loved going to the shows with her daughter and being with the horses. Pam was a wonderful wife and mother, and especially enjoyed the summer’s spent with her grandson – embracing her role as Grandma.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Craig, of Caribou, are her daughter, Carrie Foster and husband Michael Kessler of North East, MD, her very special grandson, Logan Faulkner and partner Danae, of Edgewood, MD, two brothers, Jeffrey Thibodeau and wife Tammy, and William Thibodeau all of Caribou, two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Tom and Jeanne Clowes of Stockholm, and Peter Clowes of Gray. Pam was predeceased by two brothers, David and Rodney Thibodeau, and a sister-in-law, Suzanne Clowes. Memorial services will be held in the spring at a time and date to be announced by the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
