Charles “Chuck” Beidelman, 87, passed away July 27, 2025 at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle following a period of declining health. He was born in White Hall, PA, September 27, 1937, the son of the late LeRoy and Mary (Holley) Beidelman. Chuck was a graduate of Bethlehem High School, and the Bethlehem Vocational School with a degree in electronics. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served with the “Flying Tigers 23rd Fighter Group.” Following his discharge, he worked for Boeing Aircraft on B-52 Bombers and KC-135 Tankers as an electrician. He was a branch manager for 7 years with a national finance corporation, then in 1967 he joined the team at Cary Medical Center, where he met his wife Linda, and he remained there until retiring as Safety Director after 35 years. They had a son, Gregory, whom he loved and was very proud of especially his talent with guitars and sports. Chuck coached Caribou Little League, Babe Ruth League, the 16 to 19 year old American/Canadian League, and was a past Cub Scout Committee Chairman for Pack 184. He was a proud member of the Caribou Emergency Management Agency for over 50 years, and the Caribou Emergency Response Team (CERT) since 2004.
He is survived by his son, Gregory Beidelman and wife Andrea of Caribou, his brother, James Beidelman and wife Becky of Pennsylvania, two beloved grandsons whom he loved very much and followed as a fan to nearly all school and sporting events, Seth Beidelman and wife Miranda Drost of U.S.A.F. Base San Antonio, Texas, and Luke Beidelman of Caribou. Mr. Beidelman was predeceased by his wife, Linda Dorman Beidelman in 2015, his parents, three sisters, and a brother.
Friends may call Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 12 Noon until time of services which will be held at 2PM with Pastor Ron Rosser officiating. Interment with military honors will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
