Michael Cass

March 22, 1964 — February 25, 2019

BUCKSPORT - Michael Cass, formerly of Caribou, passed away on February 25, 2019, after a brief illness.

He was born March 22, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of William Cass Jr. and Della (Theriault) Beaulieu.

Mike was a good and kind person. He loved his wife, Hanh, very much and they were a happy family together. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his garage shop where he used his carpentry skills to build furniture and design a complete home renovation and improvements. He liked family get-togethers and the happy times he shared.

Six times, Mike visited Vietnam. During one of those trips, he married his wife, Hanh. She came back with him to create a home together in Bucksport, ME.

Mike is survived by his wife, Hanh (Pham) Cass of Bucksport; their son Ho Phuoc Vu of Tay Ninh, Vietnam; mother Della Beaulieu of Caribou; sisters Deborah Cass-Camacho of Lowell, MA; Cynthia Cass of Detroit, MI; Lisa Cass-Lantz of Waverly, NY; Jennifer Beaulieu of Bowie, MD; a special cousin and dear friend, Darla Wambold of Caribou and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, William Cass Jr.

In addition to family, Mike has wonderful friends, neighbors and coworkers who were present and helped his family during the difficult time of his illness. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by Hahn and their long-time friends, Lance & Martha Weddell, Tinh Thai and Dani Thai, Nancy and Mr. Han; Arty Burack and his wife Hue Nguyen; and his fellow coworkers at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor, ME.

Visiting hours will be held at Mockler Funeral Home,24 Reservoir Street Caribou, Saturday, March 9 2019 from 5-7 PM. A memorial service will follow on Sunday, March 10 2019 at the funeral home at 12:00 Noon. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
