Casey Joseph Belanger, 46, died unexpectedly at his residence the result of an accident, on July 28, 2024. He was born in Presque Isle, July 18, 1978 the son of William and Mary Christine (Biehls) Belanger. Casey graduated in 1996 from Caribou High School, and then went on to attend the University of Maine at Orono. He worked as a Dell computer technician, enjoyed parttime work at Lowe’s in Presque Isle and had an entrepreneurial spirit. As a young boy he was always curious about how things worked, tearing things down just to reassemble them. Casey was a sponge, absorbing knowledge and randomly sharing it with others. He loved music, motorcycles, and would give you the shirt off his back. Casey loved his family and his spirit will always be in our hearts. Casey was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Casey is survived by his parents, Bill and Chrissy Belanger of Vail, AZ, siblings, Chelsea Sperry and husband Jason of Windham, William Belanger II and wife Lindsay Searles of Ottawa, Gerald Belanger of Caribou, and George Belanger of Austin, TX, aunts and uncles, Phyllis Belanger, Michael (Kathy) Belanger, James (Sandy) Belanger, John (Denece) Belanger, Stephen (Debbie) Belanger, George Biehls, Velma Belanger and Patricia Belanger, his beloved nephews, Dylan, Parker, Seth, Grant and Alex, many cousins. He is also survived by his special friend, Sam Joseph, and her daughter, Alex Joseph. Casey was predeceased by his grandparents, Gerald and Irene Belanger, and Mary and George Biehls, and uncles, Richard and Lawrence Belanger, and Larry Biehls.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 9AM until 10:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00AM. Interment will be at a later date in the New Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
