WASHBURN – Carol Ann Philbrook, 81, died April 5, 2022 at the Aroostook House of Comfort. She was born in Worcester, MA, September 11, 1940 the daughter of the late Napoleon and Ruth (Barnett) Barton. Carol married Darrell Philbrook in 1957 and was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her children, Earl Philbrook of Worcester, Cynthia Philbrook of Myrtle Beach, NC, and Kathleen Philbrook of Washburn, three brothers, Kenneth Barton of CT, Thomas Barton of MA, Gary Barton of Presque Isle, and a sister, Susan Barns of FL, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Philbrook was predeceased by her husband on February 22, 2022, and a son Donald Philbrook. Graveside services for Darrell and Carol will be held 10am on June 18, 2022 in the spring at the Riverside Extension Cemetery - Washburn.
