CARIBOU – Billy Joe Clark, 52, was called home to the lord unexpectedly April 19, 2024 at Caribou. He was born in Caribou, May 16, 1971 the son of Robert Smith and Alice Clark. Billy was a very talented fabricator and welder who was employed by Cinnabar for many years. Because of his talent he was chosen to travel and work in China for a couple years. He was fortunate enough to take part in the fabrication of many different television sets, music videos and commercials. He also did projects for Disney. He loved fishing and picking fiddleheads with his best friend of many years Jeff Chasse. He is survived by his father, Robert Smith of Presque Isle, his step-daughter, Erika Lanacone of Florida, two brothers, Bobby Smith and Jeremiah Smith both of Presque Isle, uncles, Randy Clark, and Dan Clark both of New Sweden, his aunt Wendy Clark McLaughlin and husband Jerry of New Sweden, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Billy was predeceased by his mother, Alice Clark Purser. A celebration of Billy’s life will be held on May 18, 2024 at 1PM at the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
