Beatrice A. Pelletier Bourgoine, 77, died peacefully March 3, 2026 at her Caribou residence with family by her side. She was born in Fort Kent, January 20, 1949 the daughter of the late Alyre and Catherine (Roy) Pelletier. She attended Fort Kent Schools and worked for over 20 years in the Gerber Factory making pajamas in Fort Kent. She also baby sat for several area families. Bea loved flowers, especially sun flowers. Her heart was just as delicate as the beautiful colorful flowers she had in her yard. She didn’t only show love with words and compassion; she showed it through cooking for her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, David Bourgoine, of Caribou, her children, Ricky Charette and fiancée Linda Thompson of Litchfield, Stacy Theriault and husband Jeff of Fort Kent, 3 siblings, Alyre Pelletier Jr. of Laconia, NH, Gilman Pelletier and wife Denise of Fort Kent, Rena Bard and husband Bert of Glazier Lake, NB, CA, grandchildren, Chelsea Marquis, Joshua Charette, Mindie Beaulieu, Tyler Theriault, Kortney Charette, Alex Charette, Trever Theriault, Shania Charette, great-grandchildren, Maddie Charette, Remi Charette, Blake Marquis, Mayson Beaulieu, James Marquis, Brooklyn Beaulieu, several brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.
Bea was predeceased by her first husband, George Charette, a son, Daren Charette, brothers, Ronald, Norman, Clarence and James Pelletier, sisters, Doris Bard, Edmay Michaud, Lucienne Dufour and Lorraine Dickinson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 11AM at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Spring interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
