Anthony K. Moore, affectionately known as "Tony", passed away peacefully at his home on June 18, 2026, at the age of 58 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Worcester, MA, on April 17, 1968, and moving to the Caribou Maine area early in his life. Tony was the beloved son of Melvin and Evelyn Dickinson of Mountain View, Missouri.
Tony's journey through life was defined by his adventurous spirit and deep love for family and animals. Raised in Caribou, Maine, Tony attended Woodland Consolidated Elementary School and later Caribou High School, where he forged lasting friendships and laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
Tony's professional life was spent as a dedicated driver, contributing his skills and hard work to Local Potato Farmers, Highway Tire, and Maine Bag. His colleagues remember him for his unwavering work ethic and the camaraderie he brought to every job.
Beyond his career, Tony found immense joy in the great outdoors. Whether it was casting a line with friends while fishing, feeling the wind on his face while riding motorcycles, or exploring trails on an ATV, Tony embraced life's adventures with enthusiasm and had a zest for living.
His love for animals was a defining aspect of Tony's character. Over the years, he opened his heart and home to countless cats, providing them with love and care. His current feline companion, Toby, an Orange Tiger cat, brought him great comfort and joy. Tony's belief that a home was incomplete without the gentle presence of a pet will be fondly remembered by those who knew him.
Tony's family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his cherished daughter Caitlin Sirois, and his four adored granddaughters, Ember, Harper, Everlee, and Lisa, who were the light of his life. Though he and his ex-wife, Bobbi Sirois, parted ways, they shared a bond through their family that remained strong.
Tony was predeceased by his uncle and aunt, Dana and Debbie Dickinson, as well as his aunt Rebecca Dickinson, and a very close friend, Wendy Brooker of Fort Fairfield. Their memories and the love they shared will forever be a part of his story.
As we celebrate Tony's life, we remember the laughter, the adventures, and the love he brought into our lives. His legacy will continue through the lives of his family and friends, who will carry his spirit forward.
Tony's life, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, allowing his generous spirit to continue impacting others in meaningful ways. Tony's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those who loved him. As we say goodbye to a remarkable man, we hold on to the beautiful moments shared and the indelible mark he left on our hearts.
A celebration of Tonys life will be held in the near future with the date, place, and time to be forthcoming.
