Anne Marie Lewis

CARIBOU – Anne Marie Lewis, 45, passed away unexpectedly August 20, 2020 in Caribou. She was born in Caribou, October 20, 1974 the daughter of Earl and Brenda (Barker) Lewis, Jr. Anne was a graduate of Caribou High School and was currently enrolled at the Northern Maine Community College, studying Business Administration. She worked as a hostess and waitress at several area restaurants since 2014. Anne loved animals since a young age, and was happy to share her home with her “fur babies.” Anne is survived by her father, Earl Lewis Jr., of Caribou, beloved daughters, Lorriah Marie Hewitt, of Caribou, and Brittany Hewitt of Syracuse, NY, a brother, Guy Lewis of Caribou, sisters, Sherri Lewis of Caribou, and June Balaz of Bensalem, PA, a niece, Susie Lewis, of Mapleton, nephews, Adam and Andrew Balaz, and the father of her children, Travis Hewitt, of Caribou. Friends may visit with the family, Monday, August 24, 2020 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 6 to 8pm. Please be mindful of others by practicing social distancing, wearing a face covering, and be aware that the number of people allowed in the building at one time is limited. Private family services will be held from the chapel of the funeral home.
