Alphy St. Peter

February 3, 1928 — January 8, 2024

CARIBOU – Alphy M. St. Peter, 95, died January 8, 2024 surrounded by family in Caribou. He was born at home in North Caribou, February 3, 1928 the son of the late Paul and Marie (Violette) St. Peter. He attended Caribou Schools, before enlisting in the United States Army during World War II. Following his military service, he owned and operated Alphy’s Radiator Service in Caribou. On September 6, 1948 he married Arline M. Nadeau, and together they enjoyed 73 years of marriage before her death in 2021. He was a lifelong member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Alphy was a wonderful provider, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Alphy enjoyed scenic rides with his wife and loved to travel with friends and family. The cottage at Madawaska Lake was very special to Alphy, especially the time he spent there with his family and friends.

Alphy is survived by two sons, Richard St. Peter and wife, Judy, and Darrell St. Peter and wife, Sabina, all of Caribou; two daughters, Linda Bossé and husband, Larry, of Marshfield and Judy Anderson of Woodland; his beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Michaud and husband, Travis, Jeffery St. Peter, Aaron Bossé and wife, Jennifer, Sophie St. Peter and significant other Stephanie, Sabina St. Peter and fiancé Devin Grant, Sierra St. Peter, Amy Kuzminov and husband, Fedor, and Emily Anderson and fiancé Timothy Barry-Heffernan; his great-grandchildren, Maryn Michaud, Brock Bossé, Jack Bossé and Leonid Kuzminov; a special Godson, Eric St. Peter and wife, Joanie; one niece and several nephews. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, John Anderson, a brother, Albeo St. Peter and wife Gertrude, and one sister, Estelle Martin and husband Addis.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9:30AM until 10:45AM at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Spring interment with military honors will be in the Old Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
