Allen Lee Cook “Cookie”, 61, died May 6, 2025 at his Caribou residence. He was born in Fort Fairfield, January 18, 1964 the son of Gary and Edwina (Thibodeau) Cook. He graduated from Caribou High School in 1983 and then entered the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked various jobs including as a bread delivery driver and doing maintenance at area businesses. Most recently he was employed at Huber. Cookie was a collector who had a special interest in comic books, baseball cards, and coins. He liked having his friends around and having a good time. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time spent outside.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Caribou, are two sons, Jeffrey Cook of Westbrook and Dustin Cook and fiancé Molly Bechard of Caribou, siblings, Terry Mitchell and husband Leigh of North Carolina, Kevin Cook of Presque Isle, and Staci Walker and husband Brian of Ashland,. He is also survived by the mother of his children and former wife, Claudine Bechard. He was predeceased by a brother, Kelvin Cook.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 12PM until time of services which will be held at 2PM from the chapel of the funeral home. Private interment will take place at a later date.
